A luau is a traditional Hawaiian feast that brings together the rich cultural heritage and vibrant spirit of the islands. Originating in ancient Hawaii, these gatherings were held to celebrate important milestones such as births, weddings, and successful harvests.
At a luau, you’ll find a delightful blend of Hawaiian music, hula dancing, and a sumptuous spread of local delicacies, often featuring dishes like kalua pig, poi, and haupia. Over the years, the luau has evolved into a symbol of Hawaiian hospitality, offering visitors an immersive experience of the islands’ traditions and communal joy.
The Royal Kona Resort hosts the enchanting Voyagers of the Pacific Luau, an oceanfront celebration of Hawaiian culture that transports guests to the heart of Polynesia. As the sun sets over the glistening waters, guests are welcomed with a lavish all-you-can-eat buffet featuring traditional Hawaiian and Asian cuisine, including kalua pork, teriyaki beef, and fresh island fish.
Throughout the event, waiters serve premade cocktails.
Cocktails are also available at the bar.
